Stellar County Journal

Editorial policy

Stellar County Journal aims to make geography and skywatching clear, interesting and careful. We distinguish explanation from interpretation, avoid presenting a partial view as the whole story, and make corrections when we find an error.

Accuracy and context

We check factual claims against suitable sources before publication and take care with names, map conventions and descriptions of place. We make uncertainty visible when a detail is disputed, incomplete or open to more than one reading. Articles should give readers enough context to understand what a claim does and does not establish.

Independence and partnerships

Editorial decisions are kept distinct from commercial relationships. Paid, gifted or otherwise partner-supported material is clearly identified, and a partnership does not guarantee a favourable editorial view. Partner placements are labelled so readers can tell them apart from independent editorial content.

Corrections and illustrations

If you spot an error, contact us with the article title and the detail in question. We review correction requests and update published material when warranted. Some illustrations may be generated with AI; where used, they are identified as AI-generated and are not presented as documentary images.
